Sewing machine needles
Discover our wide selection of sewing machine needles, also known as machine needles, essential for achieving neat and durable stitches. We offer all types of needles: universal for most fabrics, jersey and stretch for stretch materials, jeans for thick fabrics, microtex for fine fabrics, leather for faux leather and genuine leather, as well as twin, quilting, and embroidery needles. The right machine needle ensures a consistent stitch, prevents thread breakage, and extends the life of your sewing machine. Most of our models are compatible with domestic machines using the 130/705 H (flat shank) system, regardless of the brand. Need help choosing the right one?

FAQ – Sewing Machine Needles
Which sewing machine needle to use for jeans?
To sew denim, thick fabric, or corduroy, it is recommended to use a jeans machine needle size 90 to 110. Its reinforced shaft and fine point easily penetrate dense fabrics without breaking.
What is the difference between a universal needle and a stretch needle?
The universal needle is versatile and suitable for most woven fabrics (cotton, linen, polyester). The stretch machine needle has a medium ballpoint and a specific eye to prevent skipped stitches on elastic materials like jersey or lycra.
How to know the size of a sewing machine needle?
The size is indicated on the packaging and sometimes on the needle shaft. The smaller the number (e.g., 60 or 70), the finer the needle, suitable for lightweight fabrics. Larger sizes (90, 100, 110) are intended for thick fabrics. The Schmetz color coding system also allows for quick identification of the type and size.
